Allegations of Embezzlement Surface Against ‘Amar Pay’; Customers Demand Refunds

Serious allegations of embezzlement have emerged against ‘Amar Pay’, a payment gateway service provider, as more than ten users have taken to social media to express their grievances. According to their complaints, Amar Pay has repeatedly failed to refund money within the promised timeframe. Several customers also claim that even after being assured of specific refund dates, the company continued to delay payments without justification.
While investigating the matter, PoriPurno.com discovered that retired army officer Major (Retd.) Del H. Khan is listed as one of the company’s directors. He is also known as the spokesperson and joint coordinator of the newly formed political party, “Janatar Dol”, which consists of several former military officials. Allegedly, the influence of Major (Retd.) Khan has enabled the company to disregard customer complaints.
Sources claim that Amar Pay’s Managing Director, A. M. Ishtiak Sarwar, operates with impunity, bolstered by the support of both retired and active military personnel. It is also alleged that Sarwar has been funding the new political party regularly, further strengthening his backing. However, in an apparent attempt to avoid scrutiny, the company has recently shifted its office location.
In response to these allegations, Major (Retd.) Del H. Khan has stated that he has been unofficially disassociated from the company for some time and officially resigned from his role as a paid director two weeks ago.
